This document defines the visual and verbal identity of VitaNido and its parent company VitaNido Labs: how we look, what we say, and why it matters to every family we serve.
Family caregiving is one of the most universal human experiences. It is also one of the most poorly supported. VitaNido exists to fix the coordination gap that every family quietly navigates on their own.
Why the name
Vita + Nido: a life-nest for every family's care.
Vita comes from the Latin for life. It carries the sense of vitality, of what matters most, the living, breathing people and animals a family cares for every day.
Nido means nest in both Italian and Spanish. A nest is where a family gathers, protects, and nurtures. It is the structure that holds everything together and keeps the vulnerable safe.
Together, VitaNido is the place where a family's most important information lives: care profiles, routines, medical details, emergency contacts, all organized, all shareable, all in one nest. The name works across languages and cultures because the concepts it draws from are universal.
Modern families coordinate care across parents, siblings, babysitters, nannies, dog-sitters, and eldercare providers. Each person has a different schedule, different access to information, and a different role. Without a shared system, the coordination falls to one person and the information lives everywhere at once.
Care instructions travel by text, phone call, and sticky note. Details get lost in transit. A babysitter learns a slightly different routine than the one the parent intended. A sibling coordinating from another city never quite has the full picture. The problem is not a lack of care. It is the absence of a shared system that keeps everyone current.
When family members are in different cities or time zones, coordination stress multiplies. A parent living across the country helping manage care for a grandchild, an elderly parent, or a sick sibling cannot be physically present for every decision. They rely on updates that arrive late, incomplete, or not at all.
VitaNido gives every family a single place to create care profiles, share them with the right people, and keep everyone informed in real time. Create once. Share with anyone. Update from anywhere. The right information reaches the right person without the phone tag, the repeated explanations, or the stress of not knowing who knows what.
The caregiving reality
For most families, care coordination is ongoing and layered. Children need babysitters, after-school care, and medical information on hand. Pets need feeding routines and emergency vet contacts. Aging parents need medication tracking and shared updates between siblings. All of this happens simultaneously, all managed by people who are also holding down jobs and living full lives.
Each time a new babysitter, a dog-sitter, or a visiting family member steps in to help, someone has to brief them from scratch. Allergies, medications, routines, emergency contacts, preferences. The same information explained again, imperfectly, under time pressure. VitaNido makes that briefing instant, consistent, and revokable the moment the need ends.
A sibling in another city helping coordinate care for an aging parent depends entirely on information relayed by someone else. A grandparent across the country wanting to stay involved in a grandchild's care has no reliable way to stay current. VitaNido closes that gap regardless of where anyone is located.
VitaNido lets families build structured care profiles for every person and pet in their life, share them selectively with each caregiver, and update them in one place so everyone stays current. It is the system that families have been rebuilding from scratch, every time, for every person, for decades.
Every element of the VitaNido icon is intentional. It tells the story of one coordinator keeping every care profile in sync: not through complexity, but through connection.
The person running VitaNido. A parent managing multiple caregivers, a sibling keeping the family informed, an adult child coordinating care from a distance. Gold signals warmth, centrality, and agency. This is the user, the one holding it all together.
Each dot is a person or pet being cared for: a child, an elderly parent, a dog, a family member who needs support. Each with their own needs, schedules, and caregivers. VitaNido holds a profile for each, always current, always shareable.
The connections between the coordinator and every care profile. These lines represent the flow of information: routines, medications, contacts, instructions, kept current and shared only with the people who need them.
The rounded square signals that VitaNido is a platform you can rely on. It holds sensitive information: medical details, care routines, emergency contacts. It takes that responsibility seriously.
Three primary brand colors, each carrying specific meaning. Navy anchors trust. Teal carries the energy of coordination. Gold signals the warmth at the center of every care relationship. These colors are shared across VitaNido and VitaNido Labs.
Color hierarchy: Navy dominates. Teal activates. Gold punctuates. Coral alerts only. Never use more than three brand colors in a single composition. Cream backgrounds let the brand breathe.
Two typefaces. One brings editorial warmth and gravitas, the human story behind VitaNido. The other is clean, modern, and deeply legible for every interface moment.
Headlines, section titles, hero text, and emotional moments. The italic weight adds warmth and movement. Signals that VitaNido takes caregiving seriously: it is not just software, it is a story.
All UI text, labels, body copy, navigation, and buttons. The wordmark "VitaNido" is set in DM Sans Bold. Clean geometry that reads at every size.
The VitaNido wordmark uses a two-part split: Vita (navy) and Nido (teal). The name fuses the Latin "vita" (life) with the Italian/Spanish "nido" (nest), a life-nest for every family's care. The teal suffix carries the energy of connection, echoing the sync lines in the icon. Four versions cover every background context.
Primary version. Use on cream, white, and light grey backgrounds.
Use on light patterned or muted backgrounds where white alone won't work.
Use on navy or very dark backgrounds. Vita shifts to white, Nido stays teal.
Marketing headers and splash screens. Navy Vita, white Nido on teal.
VitaNido wordmark
The VitaNido wordmark is set in DM Sans Bold with a two-part color split: Vita in navy (or white on dark backgrounds) and Nido in teal. The monogram icon uses V and N letterforms with the gold coordinator dot at the lower right, maintaining the warmth and centrality of the brand's visual identity.
Icon at every scale
VitaNido speaks to people who are already stretched thin. The voice must earn trust immediately: warm but never saccharine, practical but never cold.
We understand that caregiving is emotionally heavy and logistically relentless. We speak like a trusted friend who happens to have the right system, one who has been there too.
In the middle of family coordination chaos, VitaNido is the steady hand. Our copy reduces anxiety by sounding like it is already handled. We never alarm. We organize.
No jargon. No enterprise-speak. We are talking to a parent at 11pm preparing tomorrow's care handoff. Short sentences. Real words. No performance.
VitaNido Labs is the company behind VitaNido. It exists to build care coordination infrastructure for families: software that is quiet, reliable, and designed for the moments when life gets complicated. VitaNido is its first product.
A product company, not a services firm. VitaNido Labs builds software for families navigating real caregiving complexity. The Labs name signals that the work is intentional, iterative, and tested against actual family needs rather than assumptions about them.
VitaNido is the first product. VitaNido Labs is the parent company. As the product family grows, each tool lives under the same umbrella: a single company with a clear mission that can grow without the brand becoming cluttered or confused.
VitaNido Labs lives at vitanidolabs.com. VitaNido lives at vitanido.com. Each has its own address, audience, and purpose. vitanidolabs.com is the company home. vitanido.com is for families and caregivers.
VitaNido Labs publishes under its own brand for company-level communications. VitaNido is consumer-facing. As the product family grows, each tool carries the VitaNido Labs lineage without requiring every end user to understand the parent company.
VitaNido Labs wordmark
The VitaNido Labs wordmark extends the two-part split: Vita (navy or white) and Nido (teal), followed by Labs in a muted weight. The gold coordinator dot in the icon remains the shared visual signature across both brands. The teal "Nido" is the consistent thread connecting VitaNido and VitaNido Labs.
Consistent usage protects the brand's integrity and the trust it earns. These rules apply across all digital, print, and motion contexts for both VitaNido and VitaNido Labs.
Pronounced: "Kara" / kair-uh
Why this name
The "A" stands for Advocate, Assistant, and AI all at once.
Care-A is pronounced "Kara" — a name that carries warmth and the sense of someone present and paying close attention. The hyphenated construction makes the AI dimension visible without hiding the humanity underneath. It says: this is care, with intelligence behind it.
The name works as a feature ("turn on Care-A"), as a persona ("Care-A is listening"), and in conversation ("ask Care-A"). The typography — Care in navy, hyphen in teal, A in gold — mirrors the VitaNido wordmark logic and makes the AI the golden element, the thing of value.
Persona
Care-A is the calm, prepared family member who was always going to ask the right questions. Not a robot. Not a clinical tool. She is the version of you that remembered everything you meant to say before you walked into the room and forgot half of it under pressure.
She listens. She surfaces the question you did not know to ask. She does not interrupt — she nudges, in real time, so you stay present in the conversation while she stays present in the detail. When the appointment ends, she has organized what was said and what comes next.
What Care-A does
Listens to your conversation with a doctor, nurse, or care provider in real time
Surfaces suggested questions and follow-ups as the conversation unfolds
Flags medical terms, dosage instructions, and follow-up actions for you to confirm
Summarizes the appointment and updates the relevant VitaNido care profile automatically
The risk to consider
The name "Kara" is heavily occupied in healthcare AI. Saykara's product is literally called Kara, and Cara AI, Cara Medical, and Kara Health all occupy this phonetic space. The hyphenated spelling creates some distance but trademark clearance in the healthcare AI sector will require careful legal review before any public launch.
Pronounced: "AY-den" / The name you already know
Why this name
Aiden comes from "aide" — and the name already sounds like someone you trust.
The etymology is direct: aide means helper, someone who works alongside you. Adding the -n ending transforms a functional word into a human name. Aiden is one of the most recognizable names in English-speaking culture, which means zero learning curve. The moment someone hears it, they know how to say it, how to spell it, and what kind of entity it is.
The wordmark places the gold A first — the A for AI, the A for aide, the A that starts every interaction. "Turn on Aiden" and "Ask Aiden" are natural phrases. The name is gender-neutral in practical use while feeling warm and personal rather than robotic.
Persona
Aiden is the briefed family member who could not be in the room. The sibling who lives in another city but has read every medical note and knows exactly which questions the doctor tends to gloss over. Aiden brings that preparation into the room on your behalf, without taking over the conversation.
Aiden does not speak. Aiden prompts. The distinction matters: Aiden keeps you in control while making sure you are not flying blind. It is the quiet, confident presence beside you that makes you feel equipped even when the situation is unfamiliar.
What Aiden does
Listens to appointments and surfaces real-time question prompts based on what is being discussed
Draws on the family's VitaNido care profiles to make suggestions specific to that person's history
Flags instructions, medication changes, and next steps as they are spoken
Generates a post-appointment summary that updates care profiles and notifies the family
The strength of this name
Aiden is the clearest option for mainstream consumer adoption. No explanation of pronunciation, no punctuation, no context required to understand it is an AI with a human role. The name does not compete with existing healthcare AI brands. The primary trademark consideration is that Aiden is a common given name, requiring careful registration strategy, but it does not create the direct conflicts that the Kara/Cara space does.
Pronounced: "PROCK-see" / Like proxy, but yours
Why this name
A proxy acts on your behalf when you cannot fully act for yourself.
In law and everyday life, a proxy is someone authorized to represent you. In a medical appointment, even if you are physically present, you are often not equipped to advocate fully for yourself: you are emotional, under pressure, and not a medical expert. Proxie is the informed, authorized presence that steps in for the part of you that knows what to ask but cannot always access it in the moment.
The "-ie" ending softens the formal legal term into something warm and personal. "Turn on Proxie" and "Proxie is listening" are natural sentences. The teal-gold wordmark split reflects the duality at the heart of the concept: the user (Prox) and the AI that completes them (ie). The icon — two overlapping circles with a gold zone where they meet — makes that partnership visible.
Persona
Proxie is the most knowledgeable person in your family who could not be in the appointment. The sibling who is a nurse but lives three states away. The parent who researched every question but could not take the day off work. Proxie carries their preparation into the room on your phone, in real time, without either of you having to coordinate beforehand.
Unlike a human proxy, Proxie never gets tired, never misses a detail, and never forgets the follow-up. It represents you at your most prepared and most attentive, in every appointment, every time.
What Proxie does
Listens to your appointment in real time and advocates from within the conversation
Draws on care profiles and medical history to make its prompts specific and relevant
Surfaces the questions you meant to ask, in the moment you can still ask them
Creates a shareable appointment summary for remote family members who could not attend
The strength of this name
Proxie has the strongest conceptual story of the three options. The proxy metaphor directly names the emotional truth of why this feature exists: you need someone acting on your behalf in a situation where you are not fully equipped to act alone. It is completely clear of the Kara/Cara/CareAI trademark landscape, invented enough to register and own outright, and has a built-in narrative that resonates with both the family coordination use case and the AI-as-advocate positioning that sets VitaNido apart.
